Coldwater Animal Hospital

We been to several vets for our rescue dogs and felt like a number. We LOVE the staff at Coldwater. They not only greet you but your pet till they feel comfy, they are caring and professional to you as well. They understand dog behavior. They do not rush you. They listen to your concerns, and give you options. They are a busy practice but so worth the wait on the phone lines. They have an easy to use app as well to book appts. We rate them A +. Mae was a difficult case. She was abused and left on the streets. She does not trust ppl. Often growling barking etc. They handled her with respect , love and much patience. Their love of animals truly comes across from staff and Vets!

I like the convenience of being able to schedule online. Max is a senior dog and this was his first visit to Coldwater Animal Hospital. He was very nervous and verbal. The vet tech and vet were very patient and kind. They worked as a team to calm Max enough that he let them examine him. Overall it was a a great experience from check-in to check-out. Everyone was so pleasant and kind. Thank you!

Recently had a first time appointment for my Great Pyrenees 18 month old rescue. She had been having skin issues and problems with her spay incision healing (it had been done by another office 3 months prior). From the first phone contact with the receptionist, I believe her name was Kris, to set up the appointment, to check in, check out, and the actual visit with vet and tech, every single person was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. I actually felt guilty for the amount of time spent answering all of my questions. Not due to the staff but from previous experiences at other veterinary offices. A plan was set up and she is doing much better. I think it makes a big difference when an office is privately owned intead of being part of a large corporation. There is currently some congestion due to the office being expanded; can't wait to see it finished! BTW, great office hours and no difficulty scheduling a timely appointment.

I am very disappointed in my recent experience with this facility. I won’t take away their care they’ve given to my dog but when it comes to customer service, I am appalled at how their receptionist Kris treated me! I have also witness her treat others poorly in front of me while in the office. After scheduling a procedure for my dog, I was told I would receive an estimate. When I called to retrieve the estimate, I was told a multitude of excuses and said it usually takes a couple days for the coordinator to make the estimate, I explained I had waited 2 weeks for the estimate and Kris huffed and puffed at me while elevating her voice and said I’d have it by the end of the day. I also was waiting for fecal results which she told me I’d have to get results from a Dr. when I asked when I should expect that call, she again raised her voice and said “ I already told you it’d be the end of the day” which she then literally HUNG UP the phone on me. So I was upset and called back to speak to a manager and Kris said she would call back. By the end of the day I hadn’t been given a call so I called back, which I was then given the run around going on and off hold for an hour. This place has zero follow through, and makes empty promises when it comes to being told I would receive call backs from higher ups. Into the next day I called again asking for a manager and was told she isn’t in but would get a call as soon as she walked in the door, hours went by so I finally called again and had to talk to the rude receptionist Kris again and was informed that the manager was at lunch. Again, I won’t take away the animal care that I do believe is given here but I have been given an unpleasant experience when it comes to customer service.
